*Helpline - Sarah Sparks (who was a founder trustee and chair of SASG for five years from 2000) is available to talk to members by telephone (daytime only) and email about a wide range of issues relating to autistic spectrum disorders. Sarah completed an MEd. in Autism (through distance learning) at Birmingham University in 2004. She then went on to train for three years to become a professional counsellor in 2007. She is now working voluntarily as a bereavement counsellor for Cruse and as a school counsellor in a Secondary School in Gloucestershire.
